Carrot Salad

A slightly spicy crisp salad, perfect for a tasty lunch

Equipment: 
  • Vegetable peeler
  • Chopping boards
  • Grater
  • Sharp knife
  • Garlic press
  • Teaspoon
  • Mixing bowl
  • Juicer
Ingredients: 
  • 4 carrots                 
  • 1 apple                        
  • 1 small red onion           
  • 1 handful of raisins             
  • 1 red or yellow pepper        
  • 1 clove of garlic                   
  • ½ teaspoon mixed herbs  
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun spice  
  • Juice of half a lemon     
  • Pepper to taste    
Simple steps: 
  1. Peel and grate the carrots.Peel, core and grate the apple. Thinly slice the red onion.Thinly slice the pepper.Peel and crush the garlic
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Mix thoroughly and chill in the fridge.
  4. Season with pepper and serve.
