Easy Beef Burgers

A tasty treat! Simple and easy to make and much healthier than fast food burgers!

Equipment: 
  • Mixing bowl
  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Grater
  • Grill
  • Fish slice
Ingredients: 
  • 1 onion
  • 500g lean minced beef
  • 5ml mustard (optional)
  • Handful of fresh parsley
  • Black pepper
Simple steps: 
  1. Pre-heat the grill to a medium heat
  2. Peel and grate the onion into the mixing bowl
  3. Finely chop the parsley and add to the onion
  4. Add the minced beef, black pepper and mustard (if using)
  5. With clean hands, mix the ingredients well
  6. Divide the mixture into 6 even balls
  7. Place each ball onto the chopping board and flatten into a burger shape
  8. Wash your hands after touching the raw beef
  9. Using the fish slice place each burger onto the grill pan
  10. Cook for about 5 minutes and turn
  11. Make sure the meat is fully cooked before serving - there should be no red meat in the thickest part of the burger

You can serve with a roll and salad, or with our tasty potato wedges!
